The sharp increase is attributed to Go Dau Port had been invested to build the 30,000 DWT (deadweight tonnage) wharf. The port handled 432,000 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units, a standard unit for describing a ship’s cargo capacity), increasing 15 percent over the same period in 2016.
Dong Nai Port JS Company aims to earn VND511 billion in 2018, exceeding 16 percent compared with the year’s target and increasing 19 percent year-on-year. It also target to earn before-tax profits of VND76.5 billion, exceeding 18 percent compared with the year’s target and increasing 16 percent year-on-year.
