(ĐN)- On January 15, a delegation led by Mr Joshua James, executive committee member of European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, had a working visit to Dong Nai to learn about investment environment in the province.
At the reception, Vice Chairman Nguyen Quoc Hung of the provincial People’s Committee said that Dong Nai is now home to more than 1,300 foreign investment projects totaling nearly US$27 billion. Of the total, 61 projects with a total registered capital of US$2.2 billion came from the EU. Almost projects focus on high-tech and supporting industries, which are in line with the province's investment attraction policies.
Large projects included Bosch Gasoline Systems at Long Duc industrial park in Long Thanh district and Schaeffler VN in Amata IP in Bien Hoa city.
Addressing at the visit, Mr Joshua James pledged that he will try his best in the bridge role between EU enterprises and the province.
