(ĐN)- As of late 2017, the total chicken herd in Dong Nai province has reached nearly 19.5 million heads, a year-on-year increase of 10 percent.
The province’s total turnover of chicken accounted of 67.5 tons while those of chicken eggs was 524 million.
The agricultural sector of Dong Nai is concentrating in building safety animal dusbandry linkage chains.
Moreover, the province has set up two animal husbandry zones which are epidemic safety from avian flu and Newcastle on poultry in Trang Bom and Thong Nhat districts, aiming at establishing material zone meeting standards for export.
