Retail sales growth was triggered by the increasing demand in preparation for the Lunar New Year (Tet).
Among the sectors involved, retail sales of trade, service, restaurant and catering services accounted for a large proportion of total revenues.
In order to stabilize the goods market, the market management agencies have recently carried out inspections to promptly regulate prices while intensifying inspections of food hygiene, cross-border trade and smuggling.
