(ĐN)- On January 13, an interdisciplinary working group led by Nguyen Minh Tien, chief of secretariat of the Central Co-ordinating Office for New-style Rural Areas, made a working visit to Cam My district.
Currently, 13 out of 13 communes in Cam My have qualified as new rural areas. Accordingly, the cultivation is estimated to yield an average of over VND130 million per hectare. Annual average per capita income in the district is VND44 million.
During the visit, the group highly appreciated efforts made by the locality to complete criteria for new-style rural areas and suggested the district to submit documents to the Prime Minister for approval.
