(ĐN)- On January 23, Dong Nai Steering Committee for Building and Developing Collective Economy held a meeting to review its activities in 2017 and set tasks for 2018. Vice Chairman Nguyen Quoc Hung of the provincial People’s Committee presided over the event.
In 2017, as many as 48 new cooperatives and People’s credit funds have been established in Dong Nai, fulfilling 192 percent of the yearly plan.
Accordingly, the province had 357 cooperatives and People’s credit funds with a total registered capital of over VND1.5 trillion by the end of 2017.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman highlighted the need to roll out incentives for collective economic organisations and cooperatives to consolidate their operations, create new-style cooperatives that are connected with businesses and scientists to carry out modern farming methods.
