Accordingly, the garment-textile industry expected to reach US$31 billion in exports by the end of 2017, a year-on-year rise of over 10 percent. The US is regarded as Vietnam's largest garment importer, accounting for 48 percent of total exports.
In recent months, Vietnamese garment businesses have expanded their markets and seek cooperation opportunities with those from other countries, especially to China.
Vietnam's textile industry targets export revenue of US$34 billion in 2018.
