(ĐN)- Dong Nai is currently home to 1,700 pig farms with total herd of 1.7 million, of which, 400 farms have been granted epidemic safety certificates and 40 farms have met VietGAP standards, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.

Over 60 percent of Dong Nai pigs are being supplied to HCM city and neighboring provinces. In addition, lives pigs in the province are also being exported to China and Cambodia.
Most of 97 live pigs in Doing Nai supplied to HCM city have been attached rings to trace their origins.
