(ĐN) –On November 21, Mr Lee Yu Sheng, General Manager of Want Want China Holdings Limited, paid a working visit to Dong Nai to study investment policies.
Accordingly, the Want Want Corp wants to invest around US$100 million to build a rice cake production factory in Dong Nai.
At the working session, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of the provincial People’s Committee said that Taiwan is now the second largest investor in the province.
So far, Taiwanese companies have invested a total of US$5.2 billion into 280 projects in Dong Nai. Many of them have continuously expanded their operations and developed new projects. The province has been in favour with foreign investors due to its preferential policies, convenient transportation, and well-organised industrial zones with completed infrastructure.
He affirmed a commitment to create favorable conditions for Want Want to invest in the food sector in the locality.
