(ĐN)- According to Thong Nhat district’s Office of Agriculture and Rural Development, the district is building and calling investors to invest in large-scale fields to cultivate cocoa, sugar cane, cashew pepper and corn in the locality.
The district is constructing infrastructure for the area of large-scale cocoa field. As planned, Thong Nhat will work with Trong Duc Cocoa Company to deploy large-scale cocoa field and provide seedlings and water-saving irrigation system for farmers in 2018.
Moreover, the district continues supporting Bien Hoa Tri An Sugar Factory to build a large-scale field for cultivating sugar cane; providing guidance for Eastern Region Agriculture Cooperative to build build a large-scale field for cultivating corn; calling investors to take part in a large-scale field project, covering 145 hectares, for cultivating cashew and another large-scale field project, covering 33 hectares, for cultivating pepper.
