(ĐN)- Germany’s world leading automotive and industrial technology Schaeffler on Friday held a ground-breaking ceremony its auto parts plant at the Amata Industrial Park in Bien Hoa city.

The first phase of the plant is built with total investment of 55 million euros, covering 100,000 square meters, and has a total capacity of 15 million products a year.
It is expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2018 and generate 250 jobs for locals, while the second phase of the project will commence in 2020.
Schaeffler is a manufacturer of rolling element bearings for automotive, aerospace and industrial uses. With total turnover of 13.3 billion euros and 87,900 employees in 170 places in 50 countries worldwide, Schaeffler is one of the leading global automotive and industrial technology group which owns the famous brands INA, FAG and Luk.
