The province’s index of industrial production in October increased 3 percent month-on-month. Accordingly, the industrial production index reported an annual expansion of 8.51 percent, while retail and service revenues totaled nearly VND125.5 trillion, an annual rise of nearly 12 percent.
In Jan-Oct, export turnover reached more than US$13.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11 percent; notably, the province enjoyed a trade surplus of over US$1.7 billion.
Dong Nai also attracted more than US$1 billion in FDI in first ten months of this year. It also saw a high increase in new privately owned enterprises in this period.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai suggested departments, agencies and localities to continue efforts to complete 2017’s targets and work out for 2018.
