According to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, between January and November, the province’s export revenue exceeded US$15.33 billion, up 11.5 percent from the same period last year. Key exports such as footwear, textile and garment, and wooden products, computers and electronic equipment grew at a stable rate.
Meanwhile, the province’s imports, mostly production materials and machines, were estimated at over US$13.27 billion.
In November alone, the province raked in more than US$1.54 billion from overseas shipments. Accordingly, Dong Nai enjoyed a trade surplus of some US$217 million this month. The largest importers of Dong Nai goods in the period were the US, China, the EU and Japan.
