(ĐN)- Japan’s Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry and Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority (DIZA) on November 15 held a conference to boost trade links between Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises.
The conference aimed to discuss ways to further cooperate in the support industries and implement model projects to develop Dong Nai as Vietnam’s production center.
According to Meti-Kansai, the biggest difficulty of Japan when investing in Dong Nai was the short of materials for production, adding that if the province developed more enterprises operating in the field of support industries, the province would attract more and more investment from Japanese enterprises.
Japan has cooperated with Dong Nai’s authorities to create a network of coordinators to boost links between Vietnamese and Japan enterprises for supplying products each other. At the same time, they also increase links between enterprises and training centers and institutes to support enterprises when they meet difficulties in technology and workforce.
Dong Nai has also set up Kansai Desk for over 4 years to assist investors from the Japan in operating or seeking opportunities in the province.
