Of them, 11 projects have completed investment for the first phase and have been put into operation and received garbage from localities for treatment.
There are 4 projects with systems treating daily garbage to produce microorganism organic fertilizer to reduce the rate of burying garbage. At present, household garbage in Dong Nai is mostly collected and transferred to 9 planned waste treatment sites for treatment and 70 percent are being buried with hygiene requirements.
There are currently 3 projects under the implementation of investment procedures with all of them are in Vinh Tan waste treatment site in Vinh Cuu district.
