So far, these seven countries and territories invested more than US$20 billion into the province. Particularly, Republic of Korea ranked first with a total investment capital of over US$5.5 billion, followed by Taiwan (US$5.2 billion) and Japan (nearly US$4 billion), Singapore (over US$2.3 billion), Thailand, China and British Virgin Island (US$1.1-1.5 billion).
Since the beginning of this year, the investors from Republic of Korea, Japan and British Virgin Island have sharply increased their investment capital in the province.
