At the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh requested the departments and sectors to check the major works that arise costs and and work with relevant ministries and sectors before submitting the report to the Prime Minister.
According to the calculation, the total investment for the Long Thanh International Airport land clearance, compensation and resettlement project is estimate at nearly VND25,500 billion, VND2.5 trillion higher than those that submitted to the National Assembly before.
So far, the feasibility study report for the Long Thanh International Airport land clearance, compensation and resettlement project is under completion of feedback collection from the relevant ministries and sectors.
Currently, Dong Nai Department of Natural Resources and Environment and consultancy unit are inspecting, updating and adjusting some contents for accuracy. The department also advised the provincial People’s Committee to draft plan to submit to the Government on the assessment of the feasibility study report and petitioned the Government to sooner set up the State Assessment Council as well as send documents to the National Assembly’s Economic Committee to seek opinions.
