(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s import turnover reached over US$1.2 billion in August, a month-on-month increase of US$43 million, reported the provincial Statistics Office.
The figure brings the total import value for the first eight months of this year to nearly US$9.57 billion, an increase of 13 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The imports mainly included raw cashew nuts, chemicals, pesticides, rubber, cotton, steel, computers, electronic components, and metals. Many local businesses imported mainly materials to produce goods for export.
