(ĐN)- Dong Nai Management Board for Projects on August 8 held a ceremony to begin the construction of a tunnel at Tan Phong intersection in Bien Hoa city.
Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong and Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai attended the ceremony.

The project is designed to run along Dong Khoi Street. It has total length of over 700 meters, including 430-meter-long tunnel and 150-meter-long roads leading to the tunnel.
The concrete tunnel has four lanes for vehicles and has designed speed of 60 kph. The tunnel, which is one of 7 key projects of Dong Nai province, will help relieve traffic congestion as well as ensure traffic safety at Tan Phong intersection.
Construction of the VND260-billion project is expected to be completed within 300 days.
