Vice Chairman Nguyen Quoc Hung of the provincial People’s Committee said that Dong Nai currently has 13 supermarkets and 5 trading centers operating mainly in Bien Hoa city, adding that as Auchan wants to invest in building a supermarket in Dong Nai, it should choose a different business model from the others to attract a lot of customers.
Dong Nai will create favorable conditions for the group to invest in the province as this is one of the fields the province is giving priorities for investors.
Auchan had conducted surveys in three areas in Bien Hoa, and it will chose one of the locations to build a 1,500-meter supermarket which will sell clean products from producers in Dong Nai province.
