(ĐN) – On July 11, a delegation from Ministry of Industry and Trade had a working session with Dong Nai province on textile industry development plan.
Dong Nai is one of the country’s largest textile exporters. In the first half of this year, the province’s garment and textile export turnover reached over US$865 million, a year-on-year rise of 4 percent.
Garment and textile are the second biggest export commodity groups of Dong Nai after footwear.
During the working session, the delegation suggested the province to continue giving priority to developing support industries for garment and textile, gradually reducing imports as well as increasing added value for domestically produced products.
