(ĐN)- On June 16, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Vinh Cuu district on implementing socio-economic tasks in the first half of this year and work out for last half.
Accordingly, the district’s index of industrial production reached over VND9.2 trillion in Jan-June, increased 10.23 percent year-on-year, while the agricultural production value was more than VND445 billion, up 2.4 percent.
In this period, 20 new enterprises have been established in the district with a total registered capital of VND74.5 billion. Vinh Cuu’s budget collection is estimated at over VND173 billion, fulfilling 67.8% of the whole year's estimates.
So far, all communes in Vinh Cuu district completed all criteria for new-style rural areas.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai highly appreciated achievements made by the district over the last months and asked relevant agencies to continue efforts to achieve the set targets.
