(ĐN)- Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Tran Thanh Nam on June 30 presented a certificate recognizing Trang Bom as the third new rural district in Dong Nai province.
So far, 16 out of 16 communes in Trang Bom district have qualified as new rural areas. Per capita income of local people reached some VND52.5 million in 2016, up 2.3 times compared to 2011.
The district established 13 specialized crop areas, with average income value of more than VND110 million per hectare of arable land and aquaculture area.
Over the past five years, the district invested over VND9.6 trillion for new rural construction.
