Over the past time, the Bureau has made efforts to stabilize goods market, including stepping up measures to prevent smuggling, helping reduce counterfeit goods and ensure food safety.
Accordingly, since 1991 until now, they handled more than 114,000 violations, which were mainly related to smuggling, selling of fake and low-quality products and food safety violations, and collected approximately VND124.5 billion in fines.
At the event, 4 collectives and 10 individuals received certificates of merit from Ministry of Industry and Trade for their outstanding achievements.
