(ĐN)- Dong Nai has recognised another 6 communes as new-style rural areas, reported a local meeting on June 20.
The communes in the districts of Cam My and Vinh Cuu, have met all the 19 criteria for new developed areas.
So far, 119 out of 133 communes in the province have qualified as new-style rural areas; other communes have met 15 to 17 criteria for productive rural communities.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee suggested localities to continue making practical measures to raise their value of agricultural production to increase income for local farmers in the coming time.
