(ĐN)- Tan Phu strives to have 3-5 new-style rural communes this year, raising the rate of communes achieving the status to 65-76 percent, according to the district People’s Committee.
So far, 8 out of 17 communes in Tan Phu have qualified as new-style rural areas; other communes are making efforts to met 19 criteria on socio-economic development, politics and defence, aiming to boost rural areas of the district.
In the coming time, the district will continue raising public awareness of the campaigns like “All people stay united to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas”.
