(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s footwear exports rose nearly 12 percent against the same period last year to more than US$1 billion for the first five months of this year, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
Footwear is the biggest export commodity of Dong Nai. Major markets included the US, Japan, European countries, RoK and China.
Most of the footwear producers in Dong Nai have received orders for exports until the end this year. Many large shoe manufacturers have transferred orders to Vietnam to enjoy preferential tariffs for exporting to some markets.
