Local gas trading firms said the price cuts are attributable to key supplier Saudi Arabian Oil Company’s announcement to lower contract prices for delivery in April to US$460 per ton, down US$80 per ton compared to March. The domestic retail price of cooking gas fell by VND5,000 per 12-kg container last month.
