In the domestic market, the price of raw cashew nuts has reached more than VND 50,000 per kilo, while the import price of the raw nut from many countries at approximately VND50,000. However, the quality of raw cashew imported from other countries had been lower in recent time.
The cashew nut production and trading sector is expected to have a good year but difficulties might occur if unseasonable weather adversely affects domestic cashew nut output.
