8 out of 11 component packages of the project have been implemented. Accordingly, construction packages of J1, J2 and J3 have been carried out quickly and faster than progress of the project. In addition, labor safety of the project was ensured.
According to Minister of Transport Truong Quang Nghia, once completed, Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway will play a crucial role in connecting expressways between eastern and western parts of southern Vietnam.
He also suggested the contractors to reduce construction time in order to put the whole expressway into use in 2019.
