(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s agriculture - forestry - fishery sector reached production value of more than VND7.52 trillion in the first quarter of this year, a year-on-year rise of 3.1 percent, according to Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Accordingly, the agricultural production value increased 3.03 percent, the forestry, up 2.13 percent, and the fishery, up 4.13 percent.
Dong Nai is currently farming more than 1.98 million pigs. Of the total, 69.33 percent are raised at farms. So far, 1,697 pig farms, 475 chicken farms, 97 quail ones, 72 duck-breeding farms in the province met veterinary hygiene standards.
