(ĐN)- The US has become the province’s largest export market this year, according to Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade.
The locality shipped more than US$4.2 billion worth of commodities to the US in 2016, accounting for over 30 percent of total export turnover and up 5 percent from the previous year.
Key foreign currency earners include footwear, textile and garment, coffee, cashew nuts, iron and steel, and timber.
Currently, Dong Nai’s exporters are making efforts to establish connection with several US groups in retail and marketing industries to not only gain more access for their goods to the US market but also cut costs from middlemen.
