(ĐN)- Nestle Viet Nam Company, located in Bien Hoa city’s Industrial Park 2, has provided over 15 million coffee seedlings with disease resistance and high productivity to coffee farmers after five years cooperating with the Western Highlands Agriculture and Forestry Science Institute (WASI), contributing to re-cultivating old coffee garden.
The program, Nescafe Plan, have used modern equipment in arboretum to produce good seedlings with disease resistance and high productivity, built model arboretums for farmers to study and share their experience, helping them to apply them at their gardens ti increase coffee productivity and income.
The Nescafe Plan has been developed by the Western Highlands Agriculture and Forestry Science Institute (WASI) and Nestle Viet Nam since 2011 with the aim of sustainable production and trading of coffee.
