(ĐN)- Dong Nai's delegation to Taiwan led by Chairman of the provincial Business Association Nguyen Huu Hieu paid a fact-finding visit to seek business opportunities in Republic of Benin, a country in Africa, between December 11 and 17.
Benin is a member of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), which is a regional organization of 15 West African countries with total population of nearly 300 million people and total area of 5.1 million square kilometers.
During the trip, the delegation paid a visit a worked with Benin’s Chairman of Parliament, Ministers of Planning and Development, Health, Foreign Affairs, Chairman of Benin’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and received lots of support from the ministers.
On December 16, the delegation signed memoranda of understanding with Benin’s partners. They also worked with Republic of Togo’s Government. The trip offered satisfactory links and more chances for long-term and sustainable cooperation for businesses with those in Benin as well as other nations in ECOWAS.
