The US, European countries, Japan and RoK are the largest importers of local wood and wood products.
Wooden product export turnover in 2016 is slower than several past years with 1.3 percent compared with 7-10 per cent a year. The low growth in wooden export turnover was attributed to the reduction of importing goods from EU and other countries.
