Cam My strives to be new-style rural district in 2017

(ĐN)- On November 22, Standing Deputy Secretary Tran Van Tu of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh of People's Committee had a working session with Cam My district on building new rural areas.

(ĐN)- On November 22, Standing Deputy Secretary Tran Van Tu of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh of People’s Committee had a working session with Cam My district on building new rural areas.

As of end-Nov, 8 out of 13 communes in Cam My district completed all criteria for new-style rural areas. In 2016, the district mobilized some VND709 billion to develop agriculture, build new rural areas and improve farmers’ living standards. Currently, income per capita of individuals in the locality was VND39.6 million per year.

Speaking at the session, Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh suggested Cam My and relevant departments, agencies to try their best to hit target of being new-style rural district by 2017.

Standing Deputy Secretary Tran Van Tu highly appreciated efforts made by the district in mobilizing all sources to participate in the construction of new-style rural areas. He also stressed that the locality should create favourable conditions to attract more investors into rural areas.
