(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the province has so far had 180 hectares of fruits certified as meeting GlobalGap and VietGAP standards.
Accordingly, two specialties, including Long Khanh rambutan and Tan Trieu pomelo have been granted geographical indication certificates. Many localities in Dong Nai have established fruit cultivation area.s Particularly, large-scaled field models for cultivating fruits for export, including mango, banana, etc, have been implemented.
The certification of GlobalGap and VietGAP standards ensuring the quality and safety of fruits helps create favorable condition for the fruits to enter global market.
