(ĐN)- On October 12, Dong Nai provincial Farmers’ Association held a ceremony to mark the 86th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Farmers' Association.
Standing Deputy Secretary Tran Van Tu of the provincial Party Committee attended the ceremony.
Over the past years, the association and its agencies raised more than VND58.3 billion and over 26,500 sq.m of land to build rural traffic roads.
The association also helped poor farmer households access preferential loans totaling over VND13.6 billion, mobilized capital, seedlings and breeding animals from its rich members to help nearly 4,000 poor members develop production and escape poverty.
