(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai province's Statistics Office, the province's pottery and porcelain export turnover in the last 8 months of 2016 reached some US$60.1 million, decreasing 30% compared with the same period last year.
(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai province's Statistics Office, the province’s pottery and porcelain export turnover in the last 8 months of 2016 reached some US$60.1 million, decreasing 30% compared with the same period last year.
The sharp fall was due to the falling demand of Dong Nai’s traditional markets, including the U.S, EU which was attributed to the tough competition of Chinese exporters, along with the devaluation of Euro leading to the short purchasing power.
Dong Nai, one of the country's leading provinces in pottery and ceramics exports, is home to nearly 50 pottery and ceramics exporters. The province's pottery and ceramics products include three types which are being used in fine arts and building materials.
