Over the past five years, Dong Nai has spent more than VND35 billion in environment service for 10,000 forest owners and households who take part in protecting and developing forests.
According to Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Chanh, the move has helped raised public awareness in protecting forest. Dong Nai currently works well in protecting forest, biodiversity. In the coming time, the province’s Forest Protection and Development Fund will continue to pay for forest environment service, helping local forest owners and households to better protect the forest.
