(ĐN)- Dong Nai is one of the three leading localities nationwide in foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction, accounting for over 11 percent in the amount of registered FDI in the country, said the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Accordingly, Dong Nai attracted more than US$1.59 billion in new and added foreign investment in the first eight months of this year, ranking third after Hai Phong city (US$2.02 billion) and Ha Noi (US$1.782 billion). It is followed by Binh Duong province, which is listed fourth.
Notably, Thai-owned Amata Vietnam Co. Ltd will invest US$309.3 million to build Amata City Long Thanh which will transform the Long Thanh area into a modern industrial city and contribute to the region's socio-economic development.
