The province’s FDI attraction ranked third after Hai Phong city (US$1.987 billion) and Ha Noi (US$1.686 billion). It is followed by Binh Duong province, which is listed fourth.
Notably, Thai-owned Amata Vietnam Co. Ltd planed to invest US$309.3 million to build Amata City Long Thanh with 410ha high-tech industrial park, 753ha township and 123ha service city. Amata City Long Thanh will transform the Long Thanh area into a modern industrial city and contribute to the region's socio-economic development.
In Jan-July, the Republic of Korea remains the top investor among the 65 countries and territories that invested in Vietnam.
