(ĐN)- According to Tan Phu district’s People’s Committee, Tra Co commune has built a giant freshwater shrimp farming area under VietGAP standards.
The shrimp farming area covers nearly 27 hectares with the participation of 28 households has received VietGAP certificate. This is the traditional aquaculture cultivation model in the locality which can achieve high economic growth.
However, giant freshwater shrimp products are mainly purchased by traders and mainly consumed in HCM city.
The district is calling investors to build linkage chain as well as purchase and consume the specialty product for local farmers.
