Under the program, the city will need over VND16.3 trillion for development which is divided into two phases: the first phase of the program from now to 2020 with investment capital of nearly VND9,675 billion; the second phase between 2021 and 2030 will need nearly VND6.64 trillion for investment.
The capital will be prioritized for projects of building infrastructure, upgrading traffic system and planned urban construction. The capital for implementing Bien Hoa city’s urban development projects will be from the state budget, ODA, or from enterprises under models of BOT, BT, PPP, etc.
Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai suggested the city to work closely with relevant departments and agencies to check the calculation for implementing the program, with the focus on projects of drainage, traffic, environment protection; allocating additional VND7 trillion from drainage project for Bien Hoa city’s urban development capital.
