(ĐN)- A ceremony was held yesterday morning to inaugurate V.R.G Sado Rubber Thread Joint Stock Company (V.R.G Sado) in Dau Giay Industrial Park in Thong Nhat district.
V.R.G Sado is a joint venture of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, Saigon Industry Corporation and Ben Thanh Rubber Joint Stock Company.

The rubber thread production company is built on an area of 41,500 sq.m with a total investment of more than VND630 billion. It is invested with modern production line under European technology which can produce 5,962 tonnes of products per year and consume around 8,100 tonnes of rubber latex, equivalent to 60% of Vietnam rubber sector’s turnover, helping to consume domestic rubber materials and creating stable jobs for more than 140 local laborers. Its products are supplied for domestic garment industry and exported to other countries.
At the ceremony, V.R.G Sado signed investment contracts with its first customers, including a contract of consuming 24 tonnes of thread in this March from Equipment& Products international Company.
On this occasion, Saigon Industry Corporation handed over VND200 million to the distirct’s Bau Ham 2 commune to build 5 charity houses for local poor households.
