(ĐN)- Nestle Vietnam Company said that waste water from coffee production plants of Nestle in Vietnam is filtered and reused.
Accordingly, 7.7 million cubic meters of waste water were recycled to be used. In coffee production activities at these plants, the water quantity for production reduced by 5.5% compared with total water saved by Nestle globally.
Currently, the water quantity for producing a tone of products is 41% lower than those of ten years ago. More than 360 projects have been carrying out, helping save around 1.7 cubic meters of water every year. In addition, Nestle also organized training courses to provide skills for coffee farmers on efficient watering to better manage water resources for coffee farming.
