Last year, the rubber sector faced lots of difficulties due to the fall of rubber latex prices and fluctuation of workforce in the sector. Donaruco exploited more than 27,600 tonnes of rubber latex, fulfilling over 100 percent of the year’s plan, and processed nearly 31,000 tonnes of rubber latex, earning turnover of VND1.5 trillion. Its employees each earned an average monthly income of VND6 million.
In 2016, Donaruco plans to exploit 26,400 tonnes, process nearly 30,000 tonnes and consume more 30,000 tonnes of rubber latex, earning revenue of more than VND1 triilion. To ensure the productivity increase, Donaruco will re-evaluate the rubber trees competence in order to take promptly measures in techniques and reduce costs in production as well as expand export and domestic market.
