Earlier, on December 30, 2015, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has signed a decision recognizing Bien Hoa city as first-grade urban area. Meanwhile, the Construction Ministry issued a decision recognizing Long Khanh as the third-grade urban area. The two urban areas exceeded the minimum requirement for grade 1 and 3 urban areas of 70 points.
The ceremony also offered a chance to review culture and history tradition of Bien Hoa-Dong Nai over 315 years of foundation and development, uphold the pride on heroic tradition of Bien Hoa city and Long Khanh town as well as raise people awareness in joining hands develop the urban areas.
