Thus, Bien Hoa has been officially recognized as first-grade city after 22 years being second-grade urban area.
Earlier, on Mid-December, at the meeting to assess the project to recognize Bien Hoa as the level-one city, the Central Council’s members agreed to name Bien Hoa as the first-grade city with an average score of 88 out of 100 points, higher than the minimum requirement of 70 points.
Bien Hoa city is defined as the center of politics, economics and culture of Dong Nai province.
