The district is striving to fulfill the target of being recognized as new rural district in 2015. Accordingly, 13 out of 14 communes in the district have met criteria for new rural development.
After five years of implementing new rural area construction, local people income has continuously increased with income per capita of people in rural areas is estimated at more than VND38 million per year.
